“The Unlimited Expanse Where Everything Is Located” can be perceived as an answer to the question “What is the universe?”. It is an infinite stretch of space, time and energy. Together these three fundaments create an eternal vibration that flows through out the cosmos. In Sanskrit, this vibration is called OM, the perpetual vibration of the universe. This vibration gave birth to everything that exists, has existed or will ever exist. It is the primordial sound of creation.

The names of all four tracks originate from Sanskrit.

The first track is called ‘Kaal’ meaning Time. Time is a part of the grand law of nature. It is cyclic; which is why the track also has a repetitive nature. It contains cyclic sounds that occurs through out the track; much like time that always cycles round and round. Something that is always there, weather we notice it or not. Always omnipresent.

The second track is ‘Vyom’, which translates to Space. Space represents infinity. Both, infinitely small as well as infinitely vast. It is what fills the universe and simultaneously creates void. Therefore, the track ‘Vyom’, also represents emptiness as well as fulfilment.

Third one being ‘Urja’ which means Energy. The nature of Energy is fundamentally cosmic. It cannot be destroyed nor be created. The foundation of existence in it’s very core. It is something that pulsates in everything and sustains life itself. Hence, ‘Urja’ also possess a pulsating rhythm that flows throughout the track.

And the final track is ‘OM’, the vibration that resonates throughout our universe. Ancient Eastern scholars deem it to be the primal sound that initiated the creation of the universe. Thus, it is believed to be the representation of the ultimate reality. The track ‘OM’, attempts to mimic this vibration. A vibration that is a concoction of time, space and energy.

Abiral Khadka aka. Joondroid

Abiral Khadka, also known as Joondroid, is a performance sound artist in the realm of new media. Born and raised in Kathmandu, a city filled with culture and art, his live performances reflect a certain kind of mysticism. Music and art, he believes, is an important form of human expression, which is why as he sings along the bleeps and bloops of his synthesizers, he tries to create an immersive atmosphere that usually surpasses cultural and normative boundaries of traditional music. Utilizing the power of the synthesizers, his sounds delve into the realms of electronica, techno, IDM, psychedelic dance music and sound art.
